Emilia Romagna - “Food Valley”

Guided 7-night stay in the Food Valley. Private villa for the week, guided tours, most meals included. Up to 10 people ideally - BRING YOUR BEST FRIENDS!
Villa can host up to 14 people. Dates are by request Saturday - Saturday in 2026 or 2027 but based on availability.

  • Day 1 – Arrive Bologna (airport or train station) • Transportation to villa provided • Welcome dinner and drinks on site

  • Day 2 – MODENA Relaxed walk through the city center • Cooking show lunch with wine tasting and a visit with a tasting of traditional Balsamic Vinegar • free afternoon for site seeing or shopping • Villa Quiz Dinner

  • Day 3 – APPENNINE SPECIALTIES - Visit a parmigiano cheese maker for a unique tour and tasting • Appennine village cooking class with lunch and wine • PM gelato workshop and dinner at the villa

  • Day 4 – BOLOGNA - City of towers, portici (covered walkways), and the world’s oldest university. Nicknamed “La Grassa” (The Fat City), Bologna is famous for its rich cuisine, fresh pasta, and delicious Mortadella.
    AM walk through historic city center • visit medieval market • enjoy local wine at one of the city’s oldest osterias • Cooking challenge lunch in a historic setting • free time in the afternoon • Dinner with Bologna specialties at the villa

  • Day 5 – PARMA & PROSCIUTTO - Visit a Parma prosciutto factory for private tour and tasting • Lunch in historic city center of Parma with local specialties • free time in Parma this afternoon • Sensory Dinner at the villa

  • Day 6 – ROMAGNA & THE SEASIDE - Visit Romagna and a cheese factory for Squacquerone • Visit a Piadina museum for hands-on experience • Extra Virgin Olive Oil mill visit and tasting • Cena Romagnola at the villa

  • Day 7 - FERRARA - The city of bicycles, mosaics and a lovely Renaissance castle • Walk or bike tour through city center with visit to amazing mosaic sites • Traditional restaurant lunch for local specialties • The Last Supper pasta party at the villa!

  • Day 8 - Depart - Transportation provided from the villa to either Bologna airport or train station

  • Private in-person and on-property guide, my local partner, Cecilia, for the entire week

  • Available for private groups of 7-14 people total

  • Request dates ASAP - based on availability (Sat-Sat only)

  • Approx price of $8,200 per person including all transportation, villa, meals and experiences as described, taxes, gratuities and fees. Price based on 10 travelers.

  • Does not include: Flights, misc spending money, meals if not described in a specific activity, travel in Italy before/after the group trip

  • Price might go up or down based on final number of travelers - available for as few as 7 or up to 14 people
